We govern, structure, negotiate and execute the largest and most complex deals globally, across all asset classes.

You will be empowered to structure, negotiate, review, draft and prepare legal documentation for our investment and corporate activities. You will also have the opportunity to lead and manage all disputes and litigation for GIC.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that manages the legal, regulatory, compliance, and reputational risks of GIC.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant on a 1 year contract to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the legal team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys managing multiple tasks simultaneously and competently in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do as an Executive Assistant, Legal?

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the legal team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Document Management: Ensure electronic and physical documents for various matters comply with record keeping standards and are filed correctly.
  • File Management: Open, maintain and organize both electronic and physical files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for the legal team and excel at handling general correspondence, such as responding to general inquiries and sending reminders, in a timely and polite manner.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Optimise processes: Understand and review existing processes with a view to streamlining and using available AI-enabled solutions to optimise such processes.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in handling and organizing legal documentation.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet engagement deadlines.
  • High learning agility with good pro-activeness in problem solving and striving for greater efficiency and effectiveness in task-orientated management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a dynamic team player who can collaborate well across different teams.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
