EVENTS MANAGER ROLE

Job Responsibilities:
- Support Head of Events with conceptualisation, planning, logistics and execution of all events, including internal staff events and regular club programs.
- Manage and lead junior staff in terms of training and development.
- Develop, implement and improve department Standard Operating Procedures, processes and policies.
- Manage events administration and department operational costs.
- Plan yearly events calendar and forecast budget for financial year.
- Develop and manage price points for different categories of events.
- Drive sales for club events and private dining experiences.
- Manage Key Performance Indicators as set out by The Executive Committee.
- Operationally run all events in private event spaces (set up, service, tear down).
- Ensure each event has the required staff/correct staffing levels.
- Work closely with relevant internal departments to organise different formats of events, ensuring member expectations and ticket sales targets are met.
- Organise and manage required stock for event spaces (tables, furniture, linen, crockery, cutlery, IT equipment, glassware).
- Deliver each event impeccably, meeting all event expectations.
- Provide feedback from all events to ensure delivery to required standards.
- Build and cement relationships with existing members and expand club offerings beyond physical premises.
- Lead by example regarding service standards required in a luxury brand environment.
- Ensure a warm and welcoming experience for all members and visitors dining in the club.
- Exceed guest expectations at all times in all areas of lounge, dining and events service delivery.
- Develop wine knowledge (e.g., via in-house WSET training).
- Develop outstanding knowledge of all food, wines, cooking techniques and allergy requirements to advise guests appropriately.
- Assist in planning and coordinating menus with the chef and sommelier team for events.
- Respond to enquiries, manage member feedback and complaints.
- Meet and greet guests, organising table reservations for events.
- Help in any area of the club when circumstances dictate as directed by Head of Events.
