Servicing and maintaining sales accounts and follow up on sales leads to increase sales revenue.
Attend briefings to pitch for new projects.
Conceptualize and prepare, with rigour – creative presentation deck, customized to clients’ needs and requirements.
Manage project budgets and quotations for clients’ approval with clear instructions to Finance team for invoicing.
Plan and propose workflows for every event.
Key liaison between client, events team, designers, and 3rd party vendors leading up to the event, ensuring that both client and event requirements are met.
Manage the set-up and production of the event on site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event.
Supervise and manage all suppliers and contractors working on location.
Source for materials and act as a negotiator to obtain cost-effective prices from suppliers.
Apply for licences, permits, insurance etc with the relevant authorities and insurers.
Ensure a smooth operation throughout each event.
Handle multiple projects from entry level to mega huge events.
Logistics management and inventory control of all equipment, materials, and any other items.
Submission of Cost Listing to Finance team upon completion of each event.
Follow up on payments with clients.
Ensure that vendor invoices are correctly billed before submission to Finance team for payments.
Pre-Requisites:
Creative, fun and passionate individual.
Minimum GCE “A” Level Graduate.
Proficient in Microsoft programmes – Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
2 – 3 years of experience in the event or hospitality industry.
Internet and social media savvy.
Able to take “common-sense” initiatives and make sound judgements and decisions.
Effective crisis management.
Good time management and able to delegate tasks.
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Able to negotiate in the interest of the company.
A passion for events and communication with an accurate eye for details.
Ability to handle pressure, multi-task and work within tight schedules / deadlines.
