Our client is a growing B2B media and events business focused on the travel sector. With global offices, they are growing their APAC presence and are seeking an Event Marketing Executive to oversee and execute event marketing initiatives, including planning, promotion, and enhancing attendee engagement while elevating brand visibility. This role is essential for implementing marketing campaigns and collaborating closely with operations, sales, and the global marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Events Director and global marketing team to develop comprehensive multi-channel event marketing strategies.
Execute marketing initiatives across print, email, and digital platforms.
Collaborate with event sponsors, partners, and vendors to optimize marketing exposure and ensure smooth coordination.
Manage content for event websites and analyze marketing performance metrics, delivering regular reports on campaign effectiveness and leveraging insights for future improvements.
Oversee the maintenance of event video and photo assets.
Write and edit marketing copy while managing social media campaign execution.
Coordinate and maintain database lists.
Develop sales materials, including sell sheets, prospectuses, and PowerPoint presentations.
Create, update, distribute, and analyze post-event surveys.
Manage the complete event execution process to ensure seamless logistical coordination.
Analyze event data to identify areas for operational enhancement and provide recommendations.
Travel to event locations as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project management skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
A flair for creative design and an understanding of current marketing trends and best practices.
Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Proficient in Canva.
Basic knowledge of website design and HTML coding.
Experience with onsite AV production.
Understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot).
Basic video editing skills.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in an events or marketing role, focusing on creating engaging experiences and campaigns.
Previous experience in the travel or live events industry is preferred.
Background in B2B marketing is a plus.
