Develop event communication plans that are effective in delivering event key messages.
Develop event floor plans with internal stakeholders based on clients' requirements.
Develop event proposals according to clients' requirements.
Develop project budgets for approval by different stakeholders.
Develop project plans to execute events.
Develop recommendations for project plans including risk management plans.
Lead discussions with clients to understand event scope and objectives.
Liaise with clients on invoicing and payment matters to ensure timely settlement.
Conduct short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales.
Train, supervise, and work with event staff to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising, and execution of the functions.
Lead event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
Coach and counsel employees to reflect company service standards and procedures.
Align event expenditure with event budget.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure adherence to event plans and budget.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in event management or a related discipline with 5 years working experience in event management.
Experience in marketing and/or public relations is preferred.
Proficient with the Event Management System and Cvent registration tool used to manage registration and event logistics.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
