Job Description

We're now looking for an experienced Event Director to join our Asia Tech x Singapore.

This is a uniquely entrepreneurial role with huge opportunities to make a personal impact on both the evolution of the event and Informa’s presence in Singapore. Our ambition is to make Asia Tech x Singapore the best Southeast Asia-focused tech event in the world and a powerful engine for tech innovation and enterprise transformation in the region. Key areas of responsibility

  1. Strategic planning and the growth of Asia Tech x Singapore
  2. Contribute to the overall design, delivery, and commercial success of Asia Tech x Singapore
  3. Delivering an exceptional experience for Asia Tech x Singapore attendees and clients
  4. Leading content production across Asia Tech x Singapore Enterprise events
  5. Stakeholder management with key industry and government representatives
  6. Leading the Asia Tech x Singapore project and ensuring alignment between various internal teams: Content, Marketing, Sales, Event Operations

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  4. Ability to build relationships with senior industry and government figures
  5. Ability to secure world class speakers
  6. Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  7. Excellent internal and external stakeholder management

  9. Passion for technology and the tech start-up ecosystem

Experience:

  1. Experience of successfully delivering large-scale, multi-track events in a fast-paced commercially-focused organisation
  2. In-depth knowledge and experience of the B2B event world
  3. Commercially astute with proven experience as a practical deliverer
  4. Experience of managing large-scale event budgets
  5. Demonstrable experience of the ability to forge positive relationships with multiple different internal and external stakeholders
