Event and Campaigns Coordinator

The Chinese Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Event and Campaigns Coordinator to work on a short-term project for 4 months. You will work with a cross-department project team within the Group to execute and coordinate a range of small-scale initiatives aimed at growing reach and engagement with audiences.

You are expected to:

• Prepare, execute and wrap-up small-scale audience outreach initiatives for the Group through conducting physical events and maintaining regular digital communications with initiative participants
• Suggest ways to improve execution of initiatives that make it easier for target audiences to participate and feel engaged
• Coordinate with Editorial project members to collate and disseminate text messages, images, video and audio daily to reach our target audiences
• Track daily reading frequency of audiences through collating relevant data through internal systems
• Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders (editorial, product & tech, commercial, etc) and external partners (community organisations, members of public)
• Any other adhoc assignments as required

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, as this role mainly supports Chinese products
• Comfortable interacting with members of public across all ages
• Able to work independently but also connect with people and collaborate as a team
• Proactive, resourceful and composed when reacting to evolving situations in public
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and in using popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat and Telegram
• Basic understanding of the Singapore Chinese Media landscape including Chinese newspaper, television and radio would be advantageous
