Estimating Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Estimating Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Perform cost estimation and budgeting for electrical switchboards and related products.
• Assist in preparing quotations, technical documentation, brochures, and drawings for client submissions.
• Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
• Support Sales Engineers in following up on orders and client requests.
• Develop and enhance computer-based costing, estimation, and quotation processes.
• Compare estimated costs against actual project costs and manage budget planning.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability in cost estimation.
• Work with the procurement team to source components and identify cost-effective alternatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project-related tasks.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
• Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 - 3 years of experience in project cost estimation within the electrical engineering sector.
• Experience in switchboard/panel cost estimation (marine or industrial) is an advantage.

Additional Information

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,000 + AWS + VB (2 Months)
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 5.45pm
