ESG Consultant / Senior Consultant, Business Consulting

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of sustainability reports (SR) using GRI & other relevant Standards, including the report production, data collection, external assurance (if applicable), SR design and SR socialization processes;
• Support the preparation of climate change reports using TCFD Recommendations;
• Conduct research on sustainability-related matters, where required, and provide insights and recommendations accordingly;
• Support with Strategy projects on ESG, where required;
• Support with ESG events involving the whole company, working together with relevant stakeholders in the company;
• Support with all ESG events/dialogues and internal/external socialization.

Requirements:

• Background preferably in sustainability (environmental science or related discipline preferred);
• Relevant working experience in sustainability, climate change, social performance, and environmental assessment preferably in a consulting role;
• Well versed with sustainability and climate change-related frameworks (prior experience with carbon accounting, carbon tax regulation & carbon credit trading will be advantageous);
• Familiar with the development around formation of International Sustainability Standards Board, compliance with GRI/TCFD, emerging reporting requirements in various jurisdictions;
• Working towards a GRI is an added advantage;
• Knowledgeable about international, regional and country-specific climate change goals, actions and regulations;
• Kept abreast with the latest and future developments on sustainability;
• Candidates with a minimum of 2 years related experience will be considered for more senior positions.
