Equipment Automation Engineer, Staff

Location: Serangoon

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing equipment on software and electrical debugging & documentation

• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance on in-house production equipment to ensure optimal uptime

• Identify and follow through on continuous improvement projects on equipment upgrades

• Lead and involve with new automation machine design and development (electrical hardware, software, PLC)

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (electrical or mechatronics or mechanical engineering)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in equipment automation / machine design in a low volume / high mix manufacturing environment

• Proven experience in new / existing equipment development

• Experience in automation machine design (sensors & actuators, control system, automation software)

• Familiar with Lean / FMEA, SPC and DOE concepts

• Knowledge or exposure to ISO13485 would be advantageous

• Understand automatic control system

• PLC program knowledge (prefer Allen Bradley PLC)

• Hands on, good communication and presentation skills
