Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (EHS | Manufacturing | West)

Key Information:

• Working Location: Tuas (walking distance from MRT)
• 5 day – Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
• US Manufacturing Plant
• Basic salary (up to 4.2K) + AWS + Bonus + other benefits
• Singaporean Only

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain EHS policies aligned with ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations, industry standards, and corporate EHS initiatives.
• Handle licensing applications and renewals with local authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Implement mitigation strategies and control measures.
• Investigate workplace incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular factory inspections and internal audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
• Conduct non-conformance investigations and identify potential gaps.
• Oversee contractor activities and ensure adherence to EHS standards.
• Assist in waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer / 2-3 years of EHS coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO14001, ISO45001 and Occupational First Aid.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
