Entertainment Manager

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Entertainment Manager to plan, organize, and oversee a wide variety of entertainment events for our company/venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for live entertainment, excellent organizational skills, and a strong ability to manage both people and processes. The Entertainment Manager will be responsible for ensuring that each event runs smoothly, from performer selection to post-event evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision for the event is brought to life and all expectations are met or exceeded.
• Research, identify, and evaluate talent to perform at events, ensuring their suitability for the event’s audience and objectives.
• Collaborate with performers and agents to negotiate terms and conditions, including fees, performance details, and schedules.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including social media, advertising, and partnerships, to maximize attendance and visibility.
• Lead and manage a team of event staff, including technicians, stagehands, coordinators, and other support personnel, ensuring smooth event execution.
• Oversee all technical aspects of the event, including sound, lighting, special effects, and stage design, ensuring high-quality production standards.
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints, and ensure events are executed on time. Assess event success, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields.
• Previous experience in event management, entertainment coordination, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the entertainment industry, including performers, technical aspects, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
