DESIGNATION: Enrolled Nurse (Nursing Home)*
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Registered Nurse in delivering, managing and coordinating quality and competent clinical care to enhance the well-being of the residents. You will also supervise the activities of Nursing Aides and Care Assistants.
Job responsibilities:
Responsible for the admission and orientation of new residents
Carry out nursing rounds with Registered Nurse and assist in the delivery of nursing care
Check, monitor and record residents' vital signs
Administer and document client medications and prescribed treatment accurately.
Observe changes in the residents' health conditions and report these to the Staff Nurse
Perform or organize and send residents for appropriate rehabilitation exercises/procedures
Ensure the comfort and good personal hygiene of the residents
Establish and maintain effective communication with all other health professionals, support staff, families and care providers
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, coordinate and supervise a team of health care assistants
Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
Other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse
QUALIFICATIONS
NITEC in Nursing
Valid Practicing certificate issued by the SNB
Valid BCLs certification
Preferably Registered Nurse with two to three years in Nursing home/Geriatric ward
