Enrolled Nurse

Job Summary:
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides quality nursing care to residents, assisting in daily care activities, monitoring residents' conditions, and ensuring their well-being. The EN works closely with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate and professional nursing care in accordance with the nursing home’s policies and Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Care & Nursing Duties:

1. Assist in nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and wound dressing under the supervision of a Staff Nurse.
2. Assist residents with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
3. Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the Staff Nurse.

Medication & Treatment Support:

1. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
2. Assist in simple medical procedures such as wound dressing and suctioning.
3. Ensure residents receive appropriate medical attention and escalate urgent cases when needed.

Documentation & Compliance:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records in accordance with MOH regulations.
2. Ensure proper documentation of care plans, medication administration, and residents' progress.
3. Follow infection control procedures and adhere to safety protocols.

Collaboration & Communication:

1. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and care staff, to ensure holistic resident care.
2. Provide emotional support to residents and communicate effectively with their families.
3. Participate in nursing home activities to enhance residents’ well-being.

Requirements:

1. Qualification: NITEC in Nursing and valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as an Enrolled Nurse.
2. Experience: Prior experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is an advantage.
3. Skills: Good communication, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Other: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Working Hours:

1. Shift-based (morning, afternoon, or night shifts), including weekends and public holidays.
