The Role:

Responsible for providing competent nursing and patient care to ensure quality healthcare service standards are met by MDAS Care Services. The Care Services comprise of Home-Based Care and Centre-Based Care.

1. Perform personal and hygiene care in activities of daily living
2. Perform nursing care including monitoring vital signs, tube feeding, and handling respiratory devices
3. Handle lifting and transferring of care-recipients
4. Execute individualized care plans
5. Analyze and produce reports on vital signs and incident reports
6. Conduct training and guide Care personnel and caregivers
7. Lead in attending to medical emergencies and critical incidents
8. Handle inventory and requisitions
9. Prepare documentation and submit reports

Technical Competencies:

• Possess a Higher NiTEC or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid SNB and BCLS license
• Minimum 3 years of patient care experience in community care is an advantage
• Able to handle physical lifting and transferring of heavy persons is an advantage
• Attentive and alert to changes in medical conditions
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)

Preferred Achievements/Characteristics:

• Experience working in community care or home-care setting
• Experience in taking care of people with physical limitations is an advantage
• Ability to handle lifting and transferring
