Engineering Supervisor (Plant Maintenance)

Job Description

• Basic up to $3,200 + AWS + VB

• Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am-5.15pm)

• Location: Tuas

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out plant preventive maintenance programs according to the schedules.

• Lead a team of technicians for troubleshooting machine breakdowns.

• Coordinate with production to improve machine efficiency.

• Respond to equipment downtime emergencies if any.

• Execute inspection of critical equipment and investigate causes of failure for appropriate action/measure.

• Assign tasks for maintenance staff according to the department workload.

• Ensure all maintenance technicians adhere to company rules & regulations at all times.

• Supervise all maintenance activities within assigned areas.

• Patrol the assigned work areas and examine equipment to detect unsafe conditions or violations of safety rules.

• Maintain a balanced stock of machine spare parts in the assigned areas.

• Provide training for maintenance technicians on troubleshooting plant equipment.

• Other tasks assigned by the department head.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering

• 2 or more years of experience in a similar position

• Knowledge of PLC, automation systems, GMP, HACCP standards is an added advantage
