Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan, schedule and achieve workshop maintenance production (maintained by in-sourced staff, and/or out-sourced contractors) for combustion engine/electric Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and/or airport automotive vehicles to attain good availability, quality, safety outcomes within budget while complying with regulations and standards.
  2. Manage work order, spares usage and production using WIAM (computerised asset management and maintenance system). Plan and schedule equipment/vehicles to meet maintenance programs, internal and regulatory inspections and tests.
  3. Lead and manage assistant engineers/engineering technicians, and/or outsourced contractor production/shift supervisors, and perform shift/resource planning. Review and improve workbay capabilities. Lead programs for continuous improvement, safety and operations excellence.
  4. Act as the Technical SME for fleets under charge. Troubleshoot complex defects, perform root cause analysis, and prepare investigation reports. Identify technical specifications for items/services needed.
  5. Conduct training, assist in designing training programs. Guide and train staff to deliver quality maintenance.
  6. Maintain fleet records and documentation. Analyze records and data to improve fleet performance, maintenance outcomes, and production.

Key Requirements

  1. Diploma/NITEC qualifications in engineering discipline with relevant technical and management experience.
  2. Ability to lead and manage a multi-cultural technical workforce. Service-oriented and technically competent. Willing to undergo training for new equipment, including electric variants.
  3. Able to work on occasional weekends/public holidays as required.
  4. Possess State Class 3 license.
