Engineering R&D Specialist | Up to $6,000

• Position: R&D Engineer
• Mon-Fri 8.30AM to 5.30PM
• Location: Tuas, Singapore
• Salary: $4,000 - $6,000 (Based on Experience)
• Entitled to Yearly Performance Bonus

Background:

Company is in EPCM Background (Engineering design, procurement, construction, management). It focuses on delivering integrated solutions for sectors such as power plants, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and water treatment.

Requirements:

• Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in research and development specializing in wastewater treatment, semiconductor, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, or other related industries.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research and development activities to drive innovation and product improvement; identify new technologies, materials, and processes for improving current practices.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and products that meet industry standards and regulations; design, develop, and test new products.
3. Work closely with colleagues to ensure project completion deadlines are met.
4. Design and implement experiments to test new ideas and concepts, and analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for incorporating new technologies into our projects.
6. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of research findings.
7. Participate in brainstorming sessions and meetings to effectively contribute creative ideas to the relevant stakeholder teams and to meet desired outcomes.
8. Participate and lead in proposal pitching activities to investors, clients, and stakeholders where required.
