Reporting line: Head of Supply Chain Department

Job Overview: As the Engineering Procurement Manager in Singapore, he/she will lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for the plant engineering construction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Singapore project team to provide procurement sourcing and purchasing support for the construction phase.
  2. Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to project requirements and local building & construction regulations.
  3. Manage engineering contracts, work with internal and external teams regarding the timely pricing and agreement of variations, effective handling of contract charges, and early settlement of disputes / claims.
  4. Manage valuation of works done by vendors and arrange for payments.
  5. Ensure full compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures for all procurement activities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and above, Major in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Quantity Surveying or related.
  2. Minimum 10 years of work experiences as Engineering Procurement or Quantity Surveyor for construction related projects.
  3. Possesses strong English and Chinese language skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders based in Mainland China, Singapore, the US, and other countries.
  4. Responsible, positive work attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
