Degree in Engineering or Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in handling low-voltage electrical products
Strong ability to conduct training sessions and seminars for large audiences.
Solution-oriented mindset. Willingness to provide hands-on pre- and post- sales technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge communication technical discussions between local/regional teams and Japan HQ.
Fluency in Japanese is required to effectively communicate technical terminology in both electrical and mechanical fields with Japan HQ and Japanese-speaking clients. Familiarity with Japanese dialects would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the key liaison between the Singapore office, Japan HQ, and Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication of technical specifications, and application/solution support.
Assist the sales team in expanding the distribution network by providing technical support, addressing inquiries, and delivering tailored solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers to ensure smooth implementation of engineering solutions.
Conduct joint sales visits with distributors and/or customers to understand their technical requirements and propose optimal solutions, fostering strong client relationships.
Conduct technical training sessions for both internal teams and external audiences.
Develop and maintain a technical database for internal and customer use.
Market studies and feedback analysis to support business strategy and product development.
Translate and prepare technical manuals, engineering documents, and specifications received from HQ Japan.
Work closely with the Heads of Solution Engineering, assisting in project planning, team management, and other assigned tasks.
