Engineering Change Specialist (1 Year Contract)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Manufacturing Support Manager
• Ensure seamless management of product-related technical change requests, including participation in PSG to product end of life within the organization.
• Drive product-related technical change management in the series phase and its implementation in SAP/Teamcenter.
• Formulate the phase in/phase out strategy to ensure material availability and avoid any business risk.
• Provide regional and global support with active participation and ECR implementation at overseas sites, where applicable.
• Manage the strategic deployment of technical change management processes.
• Verify ECP in close cooperation with R&D Engineers, Project Managers, Production, and Source members.
• Maintain close communication and raise awareness among stakeholders regarding technical change requests.
• Oversee product technical change management for ECR and manage product-related global technical change management in the series phase, including participation in PSG to product end of life.
• Work on ECP standardization, including processes and merging working tools.
• Conduct VSM to map out the ECP process and update the Process house.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams, including R&D, PSG, Supplier Quality, Commodity Management, and Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Commodity or Sourcing Management, with strong engineering experience in Mechanical and Electronics.
• Good intercultural experience in an MNC environment.
• Capable of communication with all levels.
• Strong driver, analytical thinker, and a team player.
