Engineering Assistant / Senior Engineering Assistant (Failure Analysis Lab)

Job Description:

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Failure Analysis of Devices, Assist in Lab activities, Lab Administration
2. Lead component level FA analysis in the Lab
3. Work closely with Production and manage the FA process in a streamlined manner
4. Lead FA process improvement
5. Responsible for final consolidation of FA reports
6. Arrange FA process review with engineers and Plant
7. Support Engineers for all lab related activities (soldering rework, harness fabrication, proto build)
8. Work closely with engineers for equipment procurement, installations, and commissioning
9. Work with plant facilities to setup/maintain lab facilities
10. Support lab audits (IATF16949, ESD)
11. Participate in cost and quality initiatives

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
2. Independent and able to work under minimum supervision
3. Capable of performing X-ray/C-Sam on semiconductor devices
4. Capable of performing grinding and decap on semiconductor devices
5. Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and vendors
6. Good organizing skills, Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT
7. Familiar with typical test equipment: power supply, oscilloscope, datalogger, etc.
8. Experience in soldering/rework/proto build is an advantage
