Engineer/Senior, Software Engineering

1. Leads in the design, development and implementation of software activities according to the achievement plans using approved engineering processes per the Product and Process Development procedure and the Common Software Process to meet Customer requirements.
2. Leads in the design, development and verification of software for new products.
3. Leads in the design and development of modular software algorithms.
4. Design and develop defect-free software for new automotive applications.
5. Leads in the promotion and implementation of structured software development process and methodology.
6. Implements the Common Software Process in all software activities.
7. Provides technical resources to the software competency.
8. Interfaces well with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve team goals within departmental cost and quality objectives.
9. Provides software support to manufacturing for existing products.
10. Meets Departmental Cost / Quality / EIT objectives.
11. Designs and develops new products to meet Design center requirements.
12. Provides technical support to production start-up.
13. Develops new technology and processes.
14. Interacts with vendors/suppliers in the product developmental stage.

Requirement

1. Degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the design and development of embedded control systems software using C or Assembly languages.
3. Knowledge and understanding of microcontrollers and microprocessors.
4. Knowledge of automotive audio and communication products, structure design, and analysis techniques preferred.
5. Evidence of creativity in problem resolution.
