Engineer (Green Technology)

Responsibilities:

• Design new or retrofit electrification solutions for marine offshore productions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions.
• Validate design calculations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed proposals and presentations to effectively communicate project plans.
• Pitch design concepts to stakeholders to secure support and approval.
• Develop and integrate solutions to ensure seamless operation and compatibility with existing systems.
• Engineer detailed integration of green technology solutions into overall marine offshore asset designs.
• Calculate and size green technology solutions based on defined operational profiles.
• Update proposals, presentations, and create technical drawings to support project documentation.
• Ensure familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards for marine energy storage and new energy applications.
• Understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and schematics drawings.
• Apply knowledge of protection schemes for power systems.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in marine/mechanical/electrical engineering disciplines.
• Good knowledge of power plants, energy storage systems, hybrid & full electric marine propulsion systems.
• Understanding of power management systems and energy management systems for marine and offshore applications.
• Prior experience in the design and execution of marine power systems.
• Prior experience with LV/MV switching, variable frequency drives, or uninterruptible power supplies operations.
• Prior experience in system integration roles for marine and offshore vessels (hardware & software).
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
