Engineer

Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday may need to work half day if work required (can claim OT).
Office at (City Hall), may need to work at site.
Salary: $5000 to $7500

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant site/building construction experience.
Experience in Civil & Structural required.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on shop drawings/samples/method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
2. Attend project/technical meetings and resolve site issues with owners/consultants for smooth site progress.
3. Verify that work done on site is in accordance with approved drawings/specifications/authority’s requirements and ensure that subcontractors carry out rectifications for non-compliance.
4. Resolve site issues with consultants/subcontractors/suppliers ASAP to minimize delays in construction progress.
5. Ensure that related documentation is updated and ready for ISO audit.
6. Cooperate with the safety department and carry out assigned duties within the safety framework.
7. Assist site management team in project planning & coordination.
8. Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operations.
9. Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submissions for Conquers, RI, TOP, etc.
10. Study tender/construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
11. Understand critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
12. Provide guidance to new/junior staff.
