Endoscopy Technician

Job Scope:

• Perform set up and functional checks of all Endoscopy Diagnostic Equipment prior to usage
• Ensure cleanliness and working condition of the suction and diathermy machines
• Maintain integrity of sterile instruments and scopes for use on Endoscopy patients
• Provide necessary technical support during equipment failures
• Work closely with the biomedical engineering team for the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Provide generic IT support to resolve hardware issues (e.g. printer, AIO, network, etc.)
• Provide administrative support in relation to medical equipment
• Maintain proper and accurate records in preparation for any impending surveillances from auditors
• Manage scope inventory and track repair and scope breakdown status
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or related course
• A minimum of 2 years of technical working experience in any Biomedical Engineering fields is preferable
• Possess initiative and drive to learn
