Electrical Technician/Assistance Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of technicians/junior infrared thermographers to carry out infrared Thermography inspections on the electrical installation assigned by the employer.
2. Lead a team of technicians to carry out partial discharge measurements on the Medium/High Voltage Apparatus.
3. Assist the Chief Electrical Engineer in carrying out testing and commissioning of the Electrical system.
4. Assist the Chief Electrical Engineer in carrying out the Pilot cable fault locating test for the PowerGrid Term Contract.
5. Assist Licensed Electrical Worker/Professional Engineer to carry out inspections and tests of existing electrical installations.
6. Assist Licensed Electrical Worker/Professional Engineer to lead a team of electricians to carry out maintenance and servicing of electrical apparatus on existing electrical installations during scheduled shutdown.
7. Assist professional engineers in carrying out power quality analysis and electrical load trending on new and existing electrical installations.
8. Project manage and lead a team of electricians to carry out A&A work on electrical installations, such as replacing equipment/apparatus, switchboard components, cables, etc.
