Electrical Technician

• Responsible for installing network equipment and performing DC power terminations in data center environments for customers.
• Install and configure network equipment including fiber optics equipment, servers, and network switches.
• Perform DC power equipment terminations from Power Distribution Board (PDB) to equipment racks in data center environments.
• Install and manage cable infrastructure including:
• Power cable installation and termination.
• Fiber optic and ethernet cable laying and termination.
• Cable patching and testing.
• Construct and install cable management systems including trunking and trays for power cables and fiber optics.
• Label cables according to documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and installation requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and installation standards.

Requirements

• Certification in height safety or working at heights or relevant technical certifications in electrical or network systems.
• Experience with DC power systems and distribution.
• Proven experience in network infrastructure installation.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic and ethernet cabling systems.
• Proficiency in cable termination and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using software tools for documentation and labeling.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work safely at heights.
