We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical System Design Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on designing and optimizing electrical systems for data centre facilities. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our data centre infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical system design, UPS/generator systems, and a deep understanding of data centre requirements.

Be Part of Our Success

• Responsible for design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for data centre facilities, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and efficiency standards which comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
• Specify and select electrical equipment, such as generators, UPS, rectifiers, and electrical components and distribution, ensuring they meet data centre standards and requirements.
• Work closely with other parties in the department to optimize the electrical system design with detailed engineering calculations to support the design.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and vendors by reviewing technical accuracy and outcomes.
• Prepare tender and technical specifications and perform technical evaluations of submissions by various vendors.

Qualities We Value

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 - 5 years of experience in electrical system design for mission-critical infrastructure or data centre facilities.
• Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various levels.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to data centre design.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Visio.
