Responsible for day to day project supervision for conversion and repairs of commercial vessels.
Ensure safety, quality of work, and meet delivery deadlines.
Ensure work assigned is carried out effectively and productively within budgeted man-hours allocated by CSR, meeting customers' specifications and requirements.
Accountable for the team of workers and sub-contractors under his responsibility and the overall progress of the repair projects.
Ensure good coordination and communication between the work team and other relevant parties.
Supervise the installation of:
Electrical & Instrumentation panel
Cable Ladder & Support Fabrication
Electrical & Instrumentation Cables
Field Instruments
Cable Glanding & Termination Works
Instrument Tubings & Fittings
Investigate and solve problems on Electrical Control Panel faults.
Prepare Site Progress Reports and Manpower Planning.
Able to install Marine ICCP and MGPS Systems.
Supervise and possess knowledge in dismantling motors, cleaning, heating, balancing, painting, greasing, and running tests.
Job Requirements:
NTC in Electrical or Mechatronics related field.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in ship repairs or conversion environment.
Able to interpret electrical schematic diagrams.
Experienced in carrying out system testing with commissioning team and ship repairs works under tight schedules.
Possess SSSC will be advantageous.
Preferred candidates with experience in Marine Operations and Shipyard environment.
