Responsible for the electrical and control system.
Familiar with IEC, ISO & related E&I codes.
Comfortable in reading and understanding project specifications.
P&ID understanding in cable installation, instrument location/routine, cable schedule, cable termination drawings, and calculation.
Hands-on experience with LV Motor Control Center, Local Control Panel, Local Control Station, Junction Box, RIO Panel, Fibre optic interface panel, Field fibre optic termination panel, and UPS Distribution Box.
Familiar with fire detection, emergency shutdown system, HVAC system.
Familiar with Single Line Diagram, Load List, Motor Datasheet, Panel Heat dissipation, Power Cable & Ladder/Conduit Routing, Cable Ladder & Accessories BOM.
Testing and commissioning of MCC and control panel.
Proficient with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with all sections for testing/commissioning requirements with different stakeholders and arrange for facilities and instruments for the project.
Able to work with different nationalities within the core team.
PLC programming (added advantage).
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience & Certifications
Minimum ITI.
Preferably with at least 10-15 years of experience in electrical and control instrumentation.
Demonstrate experience in troubleshooting and problem solving in the Electrical and Instrumentation area.
Strong experience and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line, schematics, and specifications.
Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, customers, vendors, and visitors.
Proficient with MS Office and related Engineering Software (such as AutoCAD, Navisworks & programming software).
Proficient in English language, both oral and written.
Ability to work well both independently and as a team.
