This position is part of the Instrument, Control and Electrical (ICE) team that provides maintenance and technical support to the Operations and Project teams. This position is responsible for ensuring the overall technical integrity of the Terminal from the electrical discipline perspective.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise maintenance tasks and reliability improvements of electrical equipment and systems within the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area
Implement reliability programs and develop maintenance procedures for electrical equipment to facilitate consistent execution of maintenance tasks
Develop and carry out minor CAPEX electrical projects following company guidelines
Investigate electrical equipment failures or malfunctions in order to identify root causes of problem as well as recommend and implement solutions
Liaise with external stakeholder including government agencies on electrical matters
Support Major expansion projects from the electrical and operations perspective
Work closely with Licensed Electrical Worker to provide integrity assurance for the electrical systems.
The incumbent shall also participate in emergency response and may be assigned to a specific role and responsibility for such purpose.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years practical experience in an electrical maintenance / design role in an oil and petrochemical facilities or power generation environment.
Relevant technical experience in high voltage electrical power systems.
