Electrical Engineer (Gas Plant / 66KV / Maintenance)

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out reliability management program to assure reliability of the electrical equipment and installation viz., HT/LT electric motors, transformers, switch gears, generators etc.
• Maintain plant electrical distribution network (66KV/22KV/11KV) and substations.
• Plan/Schedule/Execute day to day maintenance, shutdown and turnaround jobs.
• Responsible for completion of the planned PM jobs as per the PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot reliability problems and provide reports on preventive/ corrective actions.
• Conduct failure analysis, analyze reliability data & develop improvement plan.
• Able to work long hours during emergencies to complete the work.
• Able to work in night shifts during plant start-up and shutdown if required.
• Knowledge in SAP system is required.
• Review all documents available in GDMS and prepare equipment BOM to upload into SAP system.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in similar industry.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment standards/specifications especially with local codes and industry practices.
• Holding a Class 3 Driving license will be an added advantage.
• Confident and able to work independently with minimum supervision but also a good team player.
• Able to perform under high stress and quick-changing environments; able to multi-task and set priority when given multiple work assignments.
• Logical thinking and analytical minded with ability to explore and provide different options and solutions for problem and issue.
• Strong problem solving and project management skills.
