Ensure appointed MV VCD and MV motor suppliers supply equipment that meets project specifications.
Ensure appointed LV MCC panel suppliers supply electrical panel (MSS with DOL, soft-starter, 2 speed, LV VSD starters and control circuit of motor starter) that meets project specification.
Coordinate with different stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, main contractors, and consultants regarding detail design development of the LV MCC, MV, VSD, and interfacing work between subsystem work packages.
Prepare FAT & SAT test plans for 6.6 kV MV VSD and MV motor.
Prepare FAT & SAT test plan for LV MCC.
Update SLD drawings for tie-in to upstream incomers and all downstream ACMV equipment.
Update low voltage cable sizing & short circuit calculations.
Update actual demand load calculations.
Prepare discrimination studies with all upstream incoming breakers for both MV 6.6kV and LV 400V equipment.
Attend meetings with suppliers, main contractors, and consultants to provide reasonable explanations, possible solutions, and guidance if there are doubts.
Ensure all cable routing with their associated wall openings and/or cable risers are provided for all 6.6kV and 400V ACMV equipment.
Requirements
At least a Diploma in Engineering majoring in MEP / Electrical or related field.
Minimum 4 years of working experience; those with more years of experience will be considered for a senior position (e.g., Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager).
Experience in the Construction Industry (majoring in Electrical Control for ACMV) will be an added advantage.
High level of initiative, independence, meticulousness, and ability to meet tight timelines.
Able to work under pressure.
Good command of English and computer literacy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation, and Primavera software will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work in the Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT stations.
