Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manages the Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline within construction to ensure product quality and timely delivery to commissioning.
Works closely with the electrical design team to document project requirements and develop an electrical work plan for electrical system and sub-systems construction, testing, and commissioning.
Studies electrical drawings related to cable ladder, cable tray, penetration, system layout drawing, single line drawing, and interconnection drawing.
Involved in electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity check, megger test, and Atex inspection.
Creates work packages by area or by subsystem.
Plans resources including manpower, materials, facilities, and P6 scheduling.
Gives direction and assigns jobs to subordinates for execution.
Prepares work conditions for subordinates, e.g., materials, facilities, etc.
Monitors progress in meeting the P6 schedule.
Applies Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology for all work activities.
Reports daily work progress to EPCC.
Coordinates with vendors, sub-contractors, and engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
Entry level candidates are welcome to apply (On-the-job training will be provided).
Understanding of construction schedules and analysis of critical paths.
Experience in managing vendors and sub-contractors.
Able to handle projects independently.
