Eldercare Programme Executive (Funeral)

The Job

This role is responsible for overseeing the Case Management and Afterlife Memorial Service for our elderly members.

Responsibilities

Afterlife Memorial Service

• Possess a good understanding of the Charity's programmes and services.
• Handle the collection, cremation, and burial of the deceased with the help of the external Funeral Director.
• Create, maintain, and update accurate case files and a database of the Afterlife Memorial Service (AMS) members.
• Handle AMS Hotline and follow up with cases reported from the Hotline.
• Gather and prepare supporting documents for government agency submissions.
• Prepare monthly reports pertaining to AMS cases.
• Required to be on standby for case activation on weekends and nights.
• Adhoc assistance in the Charity's events.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Social Work or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Mature, independent, and compassionate in eldercare.
• Good understanding of Social Service and VWO settings.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting.
• Must possess own vehicle. Transport allowance will be provided.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
