About The Role

More than just visual presentation, Junior Art Directors will begin their journey in commercial art with their insight into human nature and understanding of communication strategies.


What You’ll Do

Client Management

  • Understand the needs of Clients and complete visual communication that meets both their brand's tonality and Ogilvy standards.
Strategy

  • Be able to understand creative briefings and communication strategies.
Creative Leadership

  • Under the guidance of art directors, produce the Client’s daily design work.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming and actively contribute ideas.
  • Assist art directors in executing projects based on agreed upon ideas.
  • Have good time management skills and be able to complete work on time.
  • Skilled in relevant design software, with preference given to proficiency in a particular skill.
  • Possess knowledge of production, printing, and digital media, and supervise on behalf of the company and Clients when necessary.
  • Familiar with trends in the design arena and enjoy sharing with colleagues.
  • Responsible for creative and effectiveness recognition at local and international awards competitions and new/existing business growth.
Leadership & People Management

  • Passionate about design, be strict with himself/herself, and create visuals which meet the Ogilvy & Mather standard.
  • Can think independently and also understand the arrangements of senior staff.
  • Be able to deal with and relieve stress independently.
  • Focus on each and every detail.
  • Be humble, respect and trust others to create a comfortable working environment.
  • Abide by the WPP Code of Business Conduct.
