Job Overview:

We are a leading top-tier insurance firm seeking a highly skilled Product and Distribution Support Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Distribution team with evaluating financial reviews, analyzing distribution opportunities, and providing critical insights to enhance our product portfolio and overall business strategy. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, experience in financial analysis, and in-depth knowledge of distribution channels. The successful candidate will be integral to driving the success of our distribution operations and business planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Evaluation & Analysis: Support the Distribution team in evaluating financial reviews and providing detailed analysis of distribution opportunities to enhance the firm's profitability and growth.
2. Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to track key metrics such as distribution expenses, sales performance, product portfolio mix, and overall profitability.
3. Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze distribution data to identify gaps, uncover opportunities, and drive improvements in the product mix and sales performance. Provide actionable insights to the Distribution team to optimize product offerings and refine distribution strategies.
4. Business Planning Support: Assist in the annual business planning exercise by preparing financial and operational reports, tracking budget performance, and evaluating strategic goals for distribution channels. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align business plans with market opportunities and distribution objectives.
5. Reporting & Monitoring: Design and implement detailed reports to monitor key distribution expenses and performance, ensuring alignment with the company's budget and strategic goals. Track product portfolio mix, ensuring that performance metrics align with the business's financial goals.
6. Collaboration & Team Support: Act as a key support function to the Distribution team, helping in decision-making and ensuring smooth operations across various distribution channels. Provide technical support and insights regarding distribution compensation, expenses, and product mix.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

1. Education: Actuarial degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (required).
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in distribution support, compensation analysis, or actuarial roles, with strong exposure to financial evaluation and distribution channels. Demonstrated experience in handling multiple product lines and understanding their impact on distribution. In-depth knowledge and experience with various distribution channels (e.g., brokers, agents, digital platforms, etc.).
3. Skills: Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with a proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data. High level of proficiency in creating and managing reports, dashboards, and other financial performance metrics. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments and functions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with advanced data analysis tools, financial software, and proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
