Art Teacher (Assistant)

The Art Teacher (Assistant) will be responsible for developing students' artistic skills and creativity through various forms of visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and other media such as design and architecture. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages students to explore their creative potential while learning about art history and techniques.

Responsibilities:

1. Create a positive, inclusive environment that supports student engagement and learning.
2. Have a passion and love for educating the young.
3. Maintain studio discipline and encourage respect for materials and tools.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, including other senior art educators, to promote art learning as a whole.
5. Communicate fluently with colleagues, parents, and guardians about student progress and upcoming events.
6. Ability to walk around and stand for extended periods while teaching.
7. Ability to lift and carry art supplies and materials.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or Degree in visual arts, design, or education. Undergraduates are welcome to apply.
2. Required to work on weekends.
