DevOps Engineer (Junior) - 2 years Contract

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (I) to join our growing team! This role is important to support our DevOps practices and infrastructure.

You will be working on:

• Configure and maintain the CICD pipelines incorporating streamlined change and release management process
• Maintain tools for configuration management, build, continuous integration, and deployment, reporting, monitoring etc.
• Implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools
• Implement scripts to automate server, CICD and other relevant tasks
• Participate and implement capacity planning and risk management
• Explore and adopt new and creative DevOps approaches to improve production reliability and availability.
• Implement security practices that comply with standards to protect the organization's data & infrastructure.
• Work in highly collaborative teams and build cloud systems.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with little supervision or guidance.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Information Technology disciplines
• Hands-on experience working on AWS. Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud is a plus
• Hands-on experience with IaC such as Terraform and OpenTofu
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration, shell scripting with Bash. Other scripting languages are a plus
• Basic knowledge of OS, networking, computing
• Strong technical aptitude, good interpersonal skills, oral and written
• Good understanding and experience with Agile projects such as SCRUM and KANBAN
