Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Learning and Development Executive.
Job Responsibilities
The primary role of the Learning & Development Executive contributes to the development of our people, through the delivery of learning programs and interventions. The role reports functionally to the Director, Learning & Development while supporting our Learning & Development Managers to drive L&D interventions across all PPHG globally.
He/She will be responsible for all administrative duties and the delivery of L&D activities as follows:
- Manages the full spectrum of administration and logistics for external and internal L&D activities not limited to:
- Coordinating training nominations and administering registrations.
- Setting up of training venue, catering, sending information to participants, producing and distributing L&D collaterals, handling claims and invoices etc.
- Maintaining the physical and digital L&D document and asset inventory.
- Compiling post course evaluation reports to be shared with stakeholders concerned.
- Updating learning records and producing monthly L&D related reports for Management.
- Coordinate and deliver training such as orientation and service-related programs.
- Maintaining the Learning Management System and other L&D technologies.
- Educate stakeholders on L&D processes.
- Provides inputs in the development of training & programs, processes, policies and learning technologies.
- Handles the administration of traineeship when required.
- Assists with the administration of talent development activities as and when required.
- Coordinates with government bodies and properties on funding related activities and obtaining industry accreditations and accolades when required.
- Undertakes any other related task/duty/assignment that may be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
- Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required.
The Person
- Minimum with 1-2 years of relevant L&D/Training experience preferably in the service industry.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
- A mature, self-driven individual with a passion for people development.
- Possess positive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to details on the deliverables and being meticulous.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin, as the role requires liaising, training with Chinese speaking associates and translation of materials from English to Mandarin.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Passion and creativity to design L&D collaterals.
- Experienced and confident in conducting stand-up training such as orientation and service-related topics.
