Job description:

Reporting to the Marketing Communications and Business Development Cluster Head, this position will be a temporary 12-month maternity cover, primarily supporting and assisting the Cluster Head as the Marcoms liaison with NUS Museum. Duties entail:

  1. Stewarding brand identity: Ensure consistent brand identity, positioning, and guidelines across all Marcoms and Development work for NUS Museum.
  2. Campaign Development & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives to grow awareness, engage audiences, and drive visitorship. Manage publicity campaigns and ensure effective rollout of campaign materials.
  3. Digital Comms Management: Manage NUS Museum's digital channels and media platforms, including social media, websites, and email databases. Implement online management tools and produce copy and creatives for marketing collaterals.
  4. Community Engagement: Drive outreach efforts to engage key audiences and develop meaningful events. Manage interactions with interest groups to generate goodwill for NUS Museum.
  5. Media Management: Liaise with media outlets to secure editorial coverage and produce media collaterals, such as press releases and factsheets.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Literature, or related discipline; alternatively, candidates with 4-5 years' relevant experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
  2. Experience in corporate communications and marketing in youth, heritage, and/or visual arts sectors preferred.
  3. Proven track record of planning and executing multiple successful marketing campaigns at scale.
  4. Strong writing skills and familiarity with current marketing and social media trends, especially in youth engagement.
  5. Experience working with tertiary-age students and similar youth groups in a professional capacity.
  6. People-oriented and able to build rapport quickly with stakeholders.
  7. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office 365, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, YouTube Studio, Web CMS, Canva, and familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud and social media management software.
