Crewing Executive

Job Descriptions:

1. Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations such as MLC, Flag State regulations, and industry standards.
2. Participating in company audits to demonstrate compliance in crewing activities.
3. Monitoring and executing crew-related matters for the fleet of owned, operated, and managed vessels.
4. Maintaining crew change schedules and executing plans.
5. Verifying and filing crew documentation in line with STCW requirements, handling visas, flag state certificates, and endorsements.
6. Keeping accurate records of crew documentation for easy access and retrieval.
7. Coordinating travel, visas, and logistics for crew members.
8. Staying updated on crew training requirements and ensuring compliance.
9. Overseeing daily crew issues and coordinating crew appraisals with technical and operations teams.
10. Managing crew information updates with authorities like MPA and the Singapore Flag.
11. Handling insurance coverage and addressing administrative matters related to crew.
12. Managing crew payroll processing, including upkeep of Sea-farer employment agreements (SEA) and working agreements.
13. Verifying timesheets, crew claims, and expenses, and submitting to Finance for processing.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience in crew management, payroll processing, and maritime regulations.
3. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
4. Proficiency in managing crew documentation, travel, and certifications.
5. Familiarity with local and international maritime regulations.
6. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
7. Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
