Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer to contribute to the financial strategy of the business and decision-making process.
Manage the day-to-day function of the Finance Department including accounting, invoicing, payment, cash management, taxation and internal financial reporting.
Ensure the timely delivery of financial and management reporting produced to the proper standards, and reporting of consolidation, cash flow, budget and forecast, variance analysis.
Assist with the implementation of our Finance Systems Roadmap.
Prepare annual audited financial statements.
Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statements; bankers and tax consultants when required.
Streamline the accounting functions and operations.
Oversee the management of cash flow and debt/debt collection.
Prepare and present financial reports to the Group’s stakeholders and board members.
Responsible for the submission of the business results to the Group for management, statutory, and SGX reporting purposes.
Oversee the training and development of the Finance team to ensure each level of staff able to perform their tasks at an optimal level.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, candidates with CPA / CA is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the role of a Financial Controller with in-depth knowledge in audit/compliance with experience leading a team.
Knowledge in SGX Main Board / Catalist Board listing regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
Dedicated individual with good interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with the stakeholders.
Possess the drive and dedication to manage time tight projects.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills preferred.
