Aviation Cabin Shop Executive (Base Maintenance Division)

The Base Maintenance Executive (Composite & Structural Shops) / BU (Paint Shop) reports to the Head BM (support shops) residing within Base Maintenance. He/She will report to the Section Head (BM Support Shops).
Reporting to the Head BM (support shops), he/she will assist to ensure material fulfilment required for the aircraft checks in the hangars. He/she will also assist to engage various stakeholders (including customers, suppliers, vendors and colleagues from supporting shops and business units) to ensure the delivery of aircraft parts and spares for the aircraft checks.

Responsibilities

General Administration and Project management:

1. Support the BU head (BM support shops) in general administration.
2. Engage, liaise and collaborate with various stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers, vendors, and colleagues from supporting shops and relevant business units) to ensure the delivery of aircraft parts and spares for the aircraft checks.
3. Assist the BU head in administration, training, and supervision/discipline of staff under the Shop/Business Unit.
4. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the BU head.

Business Process Improvement

1. Identify process gaps in material support; propose and execute improvement initiatives through teamwork with relevant stakeholders to meet required targets.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide guidance and propose solutions that meet objectives.
3. Drive continuous improvements and transform the usage of SAP functions against business process/operational needs.
4. Ability to influence and drive change within the organisation with effective change management skillset.
