We are seeking an independent professional to join our risk management team, responsible for managing firm-wide risk and regulatory compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Independence:
Manage annual declarations of independence for staff members
Conduct annual independence testing
Verify independence for new hires
Advisory:
Respond to daily queries on client onboarding, independence, and anti-money laundering
Review basic legal documents such as engagement letters and non-disclosure agreements
Update firm policies based on regulatory changes
General Compliance:
Perform regular compliance testing to ensure alignment with firm policies
Organize information for group and regulator reporting
Prepare for internal testing and regulatory inspections
Develop and deliver risk management training
Additional Duties:
Other tasks as assigned by the management
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy, Business, or a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in international public accounting, preferably with audit background
Strong interest in risk management policies and regulatory compliance
Good understanding of corporate governance, auditing standards, and accounting principles
