Job description

Our Client - a lending Bank is looking for Head of HR & Admin.

Roles & Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Overseeing the general administration, HR and IT functions of the Branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities and ensure operation adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and Bank’s values. Partner with Head Office HR teams on HR matters and advise Management and Head Office teams on HR requirements and best practices.
  • Oversee payroll, compensation, bonus, incentives, statutory payment submission, claims and all personnel matters such as employee's welfare, benefits, attendance, leaves, conduct and discipline.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates, including working with selected Recruiters.
  • Manage employee relations issues and address employee concerns and grievances, provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues.
  • Manage the initiatives and technical support in relation to SG Office IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting of IT issues and IT hardware/software maintenance.
  • Manage the monitoring, escalation and resolution of information security and IT vulnerability issues via close collaboration with IT system units and Information Security Department in Head Office. Coordinate the IT system risk framework and relevant assessment (e.g. Outsourcing, critical system assessment and business impact analysis under BCP) with Head Office teams and Branch’s stakeholders.
  • Oversee facilities services and maintenance services of the office, as well as required renovation and improvement works. Responsible for management of office equipment and fixtures.
  • Oversee general affairs (including but not limited to stationery orders, office supplies, mails management, Head Office/SG Branch memo dissemination and visitors management).
  • Responsible for management of general affairs and IT contracts and monitoring of their costs, including but not limited to contracts on hardware/software procurements, maintenance, office rental, corporate insurance and procurement.
  • Organise Branch Management meetings.
  • Ensure HR and IT policies and procedures are updated and in compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on compliance and audit matters.
  • Assist Branch Manager on general administration, HR and IT matters as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder and above, with more than 10 years of HR relevant experience. Banking and/or IT experience preferred.
  • Candidates who are familiar with the applicable HR regulations (e.g. Employment Act and Employment of Foreign Manpower Act) and industry best practices are highly preferred.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • A team leader with positive work attitude, strong compliance awareness and motivational skill.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization and within our Taiwan Head Office.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
