EHS Executive / Safety Coordinator (3PL Logistics Industry)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Executive / Safety Coordinator to join the team. This role will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment in our warehouse and logistics operations for a key customer. You will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (EHS) policies to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections in the warehouse and logistics operations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Organize and conduct EHS training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety drills for employees and contractors.
• Maintain and update EHS records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies and company policies.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and customers regarding EHS matters.
• Monitor and manage hazardous materials, waste disposal, and environmental compliance.
• Drive initiatives to enhance workplace safety culture and employee engagement in EHS programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in warehouse/logistics/3PL operations.
• Strong knowledge of local EHS regulations, ISO 45001, and OSHA standards.
• Good to have internal auditing experience for ISO 9001, ISO 140001 & ISO 45001
• Certifications in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety, or equivalent) are preferred. Excellent communication and training skills to engage employees at all levels.
• Ability to handle incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits effectively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player with strong problem-solving skills.
