About the Role: The Product Director - Market Development will be responsible for driving product direction by collaborating with product, sales, and regional leaders to develop geographical and segment-specific go-to-market (GTM) strategies. This individual will understand market trends, customer requirements, usage and buying behaviour, and the partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for the product offerings.

Lead the analyst relations strategy and interactions with key industry analyst firms.
Educate the market about core technical value offerings through various collateral such as demos, white papers, workshops, presentations, and technical blogs, driving engagement with that content.
Educate sales, product management, and partner channels about the competitive landscape and competitor offerings.
Collaborate with partner teams to develop solutions that support GTM plays and deliver value to customers.
Develop and activate core use case messaging and positioning.
Provide input and strategy into product roadmap, strategy, and pricing based on market research findings, industry analyst interactions, and competitive insights.
Nurture relationships with key thought leaders, influencers, and strategic customers to increase market awareness of the product.
Define the team's strategy, budget, hiring needs, and OKRs to build and measure results.
Provide input regarding product priorities and goals to Product Management.
Utilize customer, partner, and competitive research to influence product strategy and drive effective messaging.
Develop and own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate solutions in the marketplace.
Grow a customer reference program to engage customers and showcase success stories and value realization achieved using the product.
Create engaging audience-specific content such as case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, white papers, and sales playbooks for global use.
Conduct ROI/TCO analysis and create content to help customers build a business case for the product.
Gather competitive intelligence on key competitors and develop differentiation materials for internal use and external communication.
Support the team in setting clear goals and key results; ensure these are communicated across the organization with regular progress updates.
Requirements:
Technical background or a clear understanding of developer products; familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Data Studio, etc., is preferred.
Possess a deep understanding of user journeys and the lead-to-customer funnel, along with experience in enterprise Software-as-a-Service offerings.
Demonstrate exceptional content writing, communication, and storytelling skills, with a proven track record.
Highly skilled in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making, with strong attention to detail.
Experience supporting integrated go-to-market motions that include sales, channel partners, strategic alliances, and technology ecosystems.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
Proven track record in building and executing plans while maintaining focus on results in a fast-paced technical environment.
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and deliver results for product teams, sales teams, and customers.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex technology concepts into clear communications.
Use data to measure results and inform decision-making and strategy development.
