Investment Counselor

Our client, a global Private Banking and Asset Management group, is looking for an experienced Investment Counselor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Relationship Managers to service clients, who require frequent interaction with a seasoned bank's investment specialist.
• Provide timely and unbiased investment advice on single stocks, bonds, structured products, FX, derivatives, mutual funds, and private market investments.
• Regularly monitor client portfolios for performance, risk, and opportunities.
• Execute the Active Advisory team vision.
• Actively contribute investment ideas to the team as part of "ideas sharing".
• Proactively take initiative to build and manage own portfolio of tagged accounts.
• Occasional travel to meet clients may be required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• University degree, coupled with CFA charter designation.
• Proficient in industry-standard tools, including Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.
• 15+ years of experience in the financial industry, primarily within international private banks.
• Proven track record in multi-asset investment counselling, leveraging robust analytical skills, deep security, derivative, structured product, fund, and private market product knowledge.
• Extensive experience in advising clients on navigating the complexities of global capital market securities.
• Mathematically trained with sound experience in applying quantitative skills to systematically evaluate portfolio risk and identify optimal product solutions for client-centric recommendations.
